In Japan, insurance coverage for fertility treatments began in April 2022, and the number of patients has been steadily increasing. Globally, many countries\u2014notably China\u2014have begun to address population decline as a national policy issue, and the market continues to expand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At present, we are receiving proposals for joint development from leading researchers around the world. This fiscal year, we established a new research institute to further strengthen our research and development capabilities. By proactive investing in R&amp;D that contributes to improving pregnancy success rates, and by continuously delivering outstanding research results and launching innovative products, we aim to achieve sustainable growth and enhance corporate value. Furthermore, we aspire to be a company that gives back to society by helping create a future in which children born through these advancements can grow up healthy and thriving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While both sales and profits have been progressing steadily, we have set the improvement of our operating profit margin and the overseas sales ratio as key management goals.
