Notice of Allowance of Japanese Patent for“PELVIC FLOOR MUSCLE SUPPORT DEVICE”

Kitazato Corporation is pleased to announce that it has received a notice of allowance for the Japanesepatent application “PELVIC FLOOR MUSCLE SUPPORT DEVICE” (Japanese Patent Application No. 2022-107353).

This pelvic floor support device is designed to flexibly adapt to the user’s body shape and features a structure that effectively supports the pelvic floor muscles from below.

The pelvic floor muscles are located at the base of the pelvis and primarily serve to support the internal organs; however, their function may decline due to childbirth, aging, and other factors. A decline in pelvic floor muscle function can lead to urinary incontinence, poor posture, and reduced motor function, and may even result in pelvic organ prolapse, where pelvic organs descend from their normal position. The present invention is intended to support the improvement of symptoms of organ prolapse and pelvic organ prolapse.

Leveraging the expertise we have cultivated in the field of fertility treatment, we are committed to addressing not only pregnancy and childbirth but also the health challenges women face afterward, with the goal of bringing smiles to the faces of families and the children who will shape the future.

We are currently working to develop products based on this invention and establish a mass production system.

As public interest in pelvic floor muscle care continues to grow, we aim to commercialize these products as new solutions that contribute to postpartum care and improve women’s quality of life, while also working to create new business opportunities.
