Feb 18, 2026 Corporate Our Initiatives for Environmental Conservation Our company possesses cryopreservation technologies for mammalian gametes (oocytes and sperm) and reproductive tissues (ovaries and testes), which have attracted global attention. While these technologies are currently applied primarily in clinical settings for humans, we will also proactively provide support and technical expertise for the cryopreservation of reproductive cells of endangered and rare animals in the future. We believe these initiatives represent an important and meaningful theme that addresses the growing global environmental challenges and contributes to future research and species conservation. As part of these efforts, we support the project “Gamet Preservation for Captive Breeding of Cetaceans,” promoted by the team led by Dr. Keiichi Ueda, Director of the Okinawa Churashima Foundation Animal Hospital. The Okinawa Churashima Foundation has made significant contributions to the preservation of Okinawa’s history, culture, and natural environment through its operation of facilities such as the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and Shurijo Castle Park. We deeply empathize with the Foundation’s commitment to environmental conservation, and we will continue to provide ongoing support through our reproductive cell preservation technologies and fertility treatment (animal breeding) technologies.
