Kitazato Corporation, as a medical device manufacturer, recognizes its responsibility to pass on a better global environment to future generations and is proactively addressing climate change.
We continuously monitor energy consumption and CO₂ emissions arising from its business activities and work to reduce its environmental impact by promoting the use of renewable energy and implementing energy-saving measures.

Utilization of Renewable Energy

At its Shizuoka Headquarters Factory, we have introduced solar power generation facilities and have begun generating clean energy on-site.

We will continue to expand the use of renewable energy in line with the growth of our business operations.

Energy and Resource Conservation Initiatives

• Energy-saving initiatives such as the conversion of lighting to LED and appropriate temperature management at offices and factories
• Transition from expanded polystyrene packaging to paper-based insulated boxes
• Simplification of packaging materials and a shift toward paper-based alternatives
• Thorough enforcement of internal rules for energy conservation and resource efficiency

Through these initiatives, we strive to reduce the overall environmental impact of our business activities.

Continuous Efforts to Reduce CO₂ Emissions

By reviewing energy usage and updating facilities, we are working to establish efficient production systems.
