Environmental Management Framework

To implement its Environmental Basic Policy, Kitazato Corporation has established a Sustainability Committee chaired by the President and Representative Director.

Primary Roles of the Committee

  • Deliberating and determining goals and policies related to environmental conservation
  • Monitoring progress on initiatives such as CO₂ reduction, renewable energy adoption, and waste management
  • Identifying company-wide environmental issues and promoting countermeasures

Decisions made by the Committee are reported to the Executive Management Committee and the Board of Directors, to ensure company-wide promotion of environmental initiatives.

Voluntary Environmental Targets

To realize its Environmental Basic Policy, we have established our own voluntary environmental targets and monitor progress annually.

To achieve continuous improvement in environmental performance, Kitazato Corporation has obtained ISO 14001 certification for its environmental management system.
