Kazuo Uchiyama
Mr. Uchiyama has worked as a fertility specialist for nearly three decades since the opening of the Kato Ladies Clinic. He was pivotal in achieving the world's highest ICSI fertilization rate in 1994. He has been instrumental in the development of numerous technologies and products that are essential to today's advanced assisted reproductive technologies, including IMSI with spindle visualization, safe sperm purification methods, and devices for automated sperm movement analyzers.
“The lab that started with three people has grown into a huge lab with 60 people, and the embryologists who have left the nest are now working in many facilities. I am most proud that I have been able to establish and incorporate new technologies and have been involved in the birth of over 50,000 babies. Chiemi Toyama Ph.D.
For approximately ten years, Dr. Toyama was involved in developing cryopreservation solutions for eggs and embryos at Kato Ladies Clinic. She got her doctorate degree at Azabu University's Graduate School.

Yoshitaka Murota Ph.D.
Dr. Murota graduated from Maebashi Institute of Technology and received his Ph.D. in medical science from Tokyo Medical and Dental University in 2018. He joined Kitazato in 2024 after working as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Florida and as an assistant professor at the Institute for Intractable Diseases, Tokyo Medical and Dental University.

Honami Kobayashi
Honami has 5 years of experience as an embryologist in Tokyo, after graduating from the Laboratory of Animal Reproduction, Department of Applied Animal Science, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Azabu University.She transitioned to a profession as a technical advisor with her passion for improving skills and deepening knowledge in the evolving ART.
